Redefining Weird On An Hourly Basis

Weddng

What a great weekend! Cameron & Sarah got married this weekend. It was a beautiful ceremony held in Sarah's parent's backyard. They were married by Cameron's grandfather. Everything went pretty smoothly other than my forgetting the camera in the hotel room.

Kalan has been in town all week as I have mentioned, and Friday his wife Anna flew in to join us for the wedding. It was fabulous to see them both, and we had an absolute blast this weekend. They just left here 3 hours ago and I miss them already. I wish I could move them here from LA.

Things are going to be busy this week as I have 20 hours at Big Bear and am picking up a few extra hours at LANlords Gaming to cover while Cameron and Sarah are on their honeymoon.

Update

Nothing big going on here. Been working, playing games lately and that's about it. Cameron's bachelor party was last Saturday night and Kalan flew in as a surprise for it. Cameron was indeed surprised and a good time was had by all. Kalan has been staying the week and we have all been hanging out and playing a LOT of Asheron's Calll this week. And I mean a LOT. But it's been great fun. Anna flies in tomorrow and then Kalan, Anna & I drive up to Cameron and Sarah's wedding.

I also decided this time around to get custom plates for the truck. So at the moment I have a paper registration card hanging in the rear window of the truck that says "NRCSLPY" until I get the actual plates in 7-10 days. I'm still waiting to get pulled over for not having any plates since you can hardly see this thing through the smoked glass of the back window.

Kalan & Anna leave Sunday and then I HAVE TO get kickin' on the basement and other house projects. I really want to have the basement done before the end of October if I can. Hell, I wanted to have it done before Kalan and Anna got here, but that obviously didn't happen.

Oh, and if you haven't checked recently, there are now some pictures up in the pictures section. I will be getting more up there as time permits.

Until next time folks, just remember: "Guns don't kill people, it's those little holes."

What am I doing up at this hour?

It's 5:35 AM and I decided to post. I don't know why.

I'm working the once a month overnight lock-in at LANlords Gaming and I'm not quite awake. I'm on my second cup of coffee and wishing I could go have that 'wake-up' smoke (but I quit so I guess that makes me a quitter). I'm kinda cranky, but I'm less cranky since I put a mouse on this system that actually works.

Been pretty busy lately.... I got some more work done in the kitchen. You can check the pics here if you like.

Cameron's bachelor party & wedding are coming up fast. Other than that, I've been trying to get some work done on the house, clean it up some and keep my mind off the fact that I'm not smoking any more (it's not normally this bad, just when I wake in the morning its a strong desire). Oh and I sleep here and there where I can. ;)

Hatred

I hate quitting smoking. It's been 73 hours since I last had a cigarette (I'm making a better attempt at quitting this time) and I REALLY want one. But I at the same time I don't. I actually enjoyed smoking (no lectures PLEASE) but I realize that it's so bad for me. I feel better, but I miss it dearly.

I hate the state of Indiana. Fucking hate it. Seriously, if we just sliced it out and pulled Illinois closer to Ohio, NO ONE WOULD CARE.

I hate this shitty chair I'm sitting in for the next 3-4 weeks while the parts come in to fix mine (that I broke).

As a child, my father tried to teach me never to say the word 'hate.' Sorry Dad.

There, I feel better..... I think.
